Contemplating buying two orange crayfish

I was looking up crayfish on aquabid just to see what was out there but didnt really see anything I liked. The only thing that stood out was a sexed pair of orange crayfish. It was 65$ shipped for both of them. Im just wondering if it is worth it to buy them and possibly breed them. I dont ahve any lfs that sells crays within the area and the orange seems to be interesting. I was also wondering if anyone else had experience with dwarf crays and how they act around plants and fish.

I know I want some! I believe they are plant and fish safe. I know most people keep them in planted tanks and I've seen them with shrimp.

good to know. Im not a fan of the marbled crayfish because I can see them becoming more of a pest then a blessing since people use them as feeders and they are kind of ugly. I rather two of these guys because they seem exotic looking. My only problem is buying them and getting the two same sexes and they are also pricey as they would be 65$ with shipping. I dont know if breeding and selling them would become lucrative and help me make money back either lol. These are some of the things holding me back.

Pics!? I'm thinking of getting a blue and an orange. Want to make sure they won't eat my plants though.

Sorry, I never even got a chance to get any. With in an hour of getting them, I found the male ripped in half in one of my frogs mouth. The other one has been surviving just fine but he recently disappeared. Honestly, makes alot of hiding spots for them but make sure you can find them or they can hide from any predators. I only had tetras, ADF's and a red tailed shark. These guys will be very small. There claws are so small too. They are no threat lol. Let me know where you see blue ones. I just ordered six white dwarfs. Currently awaiting there arrival. Those guys are getting there own tank and I will provide pics.
