I have never seen dojos, kuhlis and hillstreams eat snails granting them an exception from the list of snail eaters. Judging from the mouth anatomy as well, the serpentine loaches are not prime candidates for predatory instincts towards snails. I find it purely coincidental that they eat snails which happen to be dying or already dead.
