Can anyone in UK supply me with some common pond snails?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone in the UK who has a tank over run with snails would be able to supply me with some common pond snails, as I am trying to breed them for my puffers but without much luck?????????!! (I know most people can't get rid of the little blighters!)

I would be more than happy to pay transportation costs or come and collect if local (Castle Cary in Somerset)

Many many thanks x

Trying to breed snails with no luck!

I've been trying to breed pond snails and ramshorn snails in a tank in my window sill but I'm not having much luck. (I keep F8 puffers)

My daughter has just set up a small 8g tank with guppies, (heated, filtered and cycled) if I dropped a few snails in there do you think they'd breed quicker or would I over run here little tank before I could blink?

I have MTS in my tank that I can't get rid of, are these what you are looking for??
Will be happy to find a way of shipping them to you, I have not shipped snails before but I do know that they need to be kept wet so they would be sent recorded delivery and wrapped in wet (aquarium water) tissue.

That would be fab, I could start my own colony then. I'm in the UK, are you too? I bought some ramshorns on ebay a while back (they were sooooo expensive!) and they shipped them on wet paper towels inside a plastic cup then sealed in a plastic bag? Or I could send you a plastic tub to ship them in and enclose some money for your return postage as I don't want to put you out of pocket. If you are in the UK I'll PM you my address, many thanks, Jane

Hi Jane
I'm in the UK, seems we have a deal here. I will be happy to keep your address on file too if you wouldn't mind so that when they start taking over again, which I know they will, I can contact you to see if you need any. I know that I will never be able to get rid of these things, however as long as there are puffer fish keepers there will be a home for my MTS.
Would you mind getting the plastic tub and sending it to me as I don't get much time to get out to buy such things. I am happy to supply these to you but don't wish to put you out of pocket either, so if you post the tub over to me I will be happy to post it back to you with snails included.
I will PM you my addy in order for you to do this, will also PM you my telephone number and times of day you should be able to get in touch with me.
