Ok, so recently my mom bought a snail for my tank after my apple snail died. This new snail died shortly after being in the tank and since then we have not added anything else to the tank

But randomly this baby snail showed up, and only one. I'm not sure but it just doesn't look like an apple snail to me? Maybe I am wrong? But anyways this morning I have found just the shell of this snail so I snapped some pictures of it. They are not the best quality, so I appologize ahead of time but if anyone can help me out that would be great.

I just need to know if it's not an apple snail if it will eat plants and if I should expect to see more. Thanks!

Awesome thanks! Yeah I just looked it up, it's most definitely a pond snail.

I wonder how he got in there :? I've been looking for egg clutches because I thought it was the apple snails baby, I know apple snails lay egg clutches above the water line. So where would I find this pond snails egg clutch? Thanks again.

Yup! I let my puffer tank get taken over by them while I was cycling. Even looking at my tank now, I see the sacs on the bottom of just about every leaf in the tank, not to mention a bunch of other places. Obviously it's not an issue in my tank, as the puffer is a little murderous beast. But it's definitely a lesson on doing bleach dips of new plants!
