I have neon tetras, oto catfish, cory catfish, and a mini mexican lobser (crayfish). I will also be adding Red Cherry Shrimp to my tank. Will Assassin Snails eat any of these? It's probably a dumb question, but I saw pictures on google of Assassin Snails spearing shrimp and fish. I'm hoping they were just eating dead ones, because I want to get a few lol.
From my experience the snails are too slow to prey upon faster moving tank mates. Your shrimp and baby shrimp will not fall victim. They do have the ability to take down large snails, something to keep in mind. They will go for mystery snails and actually hunt in a group.
Alright, good news. Thank you. Posted via Mobile Device
