Here is a new pic of their eggs. See the dots lining the empty MTS shell and then 7 more at the bottom center and right and another at the bottom left near the cana shell. Some eggs have already hatched and over 100 still waiting.
Wow! Awsome lupin!
Assassin snails seem to be going for some good change, are you going to try to turn a profit?
You could sell some and use the money to buy some more "different" snails and loaches! How fun that would be!
Funnily enough, I'm eyeing Channa panaw right now as my comeback monster fish. Last I kept were the arowanas and bichirs but I'll need to make sure I can commit to snakeheads before I get one.:? With their voracious appetites, heaven knows how much money I need to shell out.
Yes, I'll sell some of my assassins soon. Some of my friends have been waiting for the snails.
Actually, I was never infatuated by snakeheads in the slightest until a friend who owns a LFS stocked two Channa panaw. I simply gaped at their beauty and activity so I instantly fell in love with these fish for the first time.:checkedout:
I wish I could see the newborn assassins but I can't find them despite the empty egg cases indicating they've already hatched. I'll wait two weeks before I get more paranoid. I could have sworn though I saw one baby that looked like an assassin snail dancing around a small flat pebble. I got a headache just squinting closely.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It really depends on your perspective which snails look good. Assassins are very pretty in my opinion.;-)
