Anyone heard of MS burrowing??

I just put my Mystery snail back in tank after salt treatment. The salt content should be minimual, as I've done frequent WC, but as soon as I put him in he burrowed and still remains buried about half way in small gravel. Does anyone know what this means? Should I be concerned?

I've got the temp at 80 degrees, and I'm wanting to keep it there, to avoid ICH. Could the temp be the problem?

25 gal
3 Dwarf Rainbows
5 Danios
3 ghost shrimp
1 Mystery snail (yellow)

Just because animals can't talk, does not mean they should not be heard
