Any inverts for my SA cichlid tank?

I'm trying to have a biom tank for the amazon...right now it has sand substrate and 1 chocolate cichlid, 2 rotkeil severums, 1 Firemouth, 1 mayan cichlid, 1 pictus cat, and 1 Bronze Cory(the rest of the cories were demolished overnight..why he survived...IDK).

Anyway...I would like to get some inverts for the tank...possibly some clams and shrimp...but i need to know what inverts(if any) are native to the amazon?


Thanks!!!(Nothing over 6 inches for crabs or crawfish or shrimp please....clams i'm fine with though)

I don't think there is a snail or shrimp that will survive your severums, mayan, uaru and Firemouth. You'll never when the snails will be eaten. Shrimps though are absolute meals to them.

yah lol i think one of mayan cichlids favorite foods are snails(so ive heard)
