Next week I'm going to add some critters for the bottom of my 10g tank, and right now I've got a couple of combo ideas since one of them depends on the store I'm ordering them from has what I want. One combo is a school of oto catfish, 3 or 4, and 5 or 6 cherry red shrimp. Another combo is 3 or 4 Amano Shrimp and 3 or 4 corys, depending on which ones would be the right size for a 10g tank.
What have in the 10g now are:
1x Male Betta
1x Rainbow Platy
4x Harlequin Rasboras
The betta I just bought, and he is barely half the size of my pinky finger, and chances are, he will leave the shrimp alone since they would be almost the same size as him at the moment, and after a while, probably wouldn't care about the shrimp after a while, kind of like my last one, which I've kept in a 20g tank and he left my ghost shrimp and nerite snails alone.
The Rainbow Platy is a female and an unexpected move because she gave birth to some fish fry over a week ago and had to relocate to avoid an encore, especially since I have three other platys and they are all male.
If anybody can give me suggestions on what kind of shrimp or snails to add to the 10g, feel free, just please suggest something other than the ones I have in the 20g because I have a tendency mix n' matching everything, but have enough sense when it comes to making sure that the fish would be both comfortable and off the menu of another.
