when buying 4 white cloud mountain minnows and a bristlenose catfish for my 16 litre tank which currently has a single male Betta, I was also accidentaly given what i THINK is a Malaysian Trumpet Snail. Can MTS's also go into the tank with the white clouds, catfish and betta?
A pic for ID and water parameters would help answer you question.
But also... I hate to be a party pooper, but I'm trying to help. Are all of these fish are going in a 16 liter/4 gallon tank? A Betta splendens, a bristlenose pleco, and four white cloud mountain minnow? There are several issues here- the temp incompatibilities with the minnows, there's the size of the pleco being too large, and there's the minnows needing much more space because they are active swimmers, there's the high activity of the minnows upsetting the betta, and the small size of the group of minnows. I'm just trying to save you some heartache here, I don't think this will work out well. :-(
They can... but they might be picked on a bit by the betta. I know my snails in the betta tank used to get their antennae nipped.
