Well, here we go :)

Name is Ryan, 19 going on 20 and moving out of the house. Now I can finally keep fish :)

Parents never wanted to keep them so now that I am almost out its time to start thinking about how I'm going to set things up. A simple, beginner friendly set-up is desired.

Want to go with a community tank to start off with. Already have a 20 Gallon tank, a little smaller then I ideally wanted but it was free ;) Play sand substrate and mostly rock structue is what I'm aiming for to keep it simple. I'll move into live plants later :P

I'm thinking some Zebra Danios and some Cherry barbs at this point, but I change my mind about a dozen times a day. I plan on getting the tank set-up in about a week and cycle it for awhile.

Anyways, wrong place for that rant, but I'm glad to be here :) Hope to learn a lot.

hello there,welcome.
will you be able to show pictures,we always love to see. :)
good luck with your house move, and hope you settle in.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
