Tropical Fish & Carnivorous Plants Hobbyist

My name is Jim. I used to have several fish tanks devoted to anabantids, livebearers, jewel cichlids, black convicts, and water sprite.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra

As much as I would like to perpetuate tropical fish, money and space prohibit it. I still love my guppies and salt water fish & inverts, but I can't do anything but admire them from a afar.

I now have a hobby I can enjoy, on a 'shoe-string budget' - carnivorous plants.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
