Great Job!! And only 16!! Keep up the good work!

When looking for a solution to an Aquarium problem go slow and change only one parameter at a time!

Welcome aboard! I am new here as well.

Nice tank! I wish I could keep planted tank as nice as yours when I was 16. Unfortunately, I kept only plastic plants or dead plants those days

Already started. I have cut the background plants so they are 5cm below the water at the back and nearer the front 10cm. I have trimmed the dead leaves off of the microswords and pulled their crowns just above the sand. I will be trimming the stem plants now as since i dosed with the ferts they have gone wild!

Hello Jamie, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

Very lovely planted aquarium, nice to see another enthused plant aquarist.

Byron.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
