Talking thank you for having me

thank you for having me in the group. I was forced to go buy a 10 gallon aquarium about a year ago when my son brought home a couple gold fish he won playing a game in Sunday school last year. I wasn't really interested in fish, nor did i want the responsibility of maintaining the tank, but it has kind of grown on me. I had a 55 gallon tank given to me a few weeks back, so i have decided to move up a step and try a tropical fish community. I'm hoping the people here can help me through any problems that will inevitably arise as make this endeavor. look forward to chatting with you all.

Hello and welcome to the forum

Tanks do tend to be addicting and you're here among many fellow addicts :)

You'll find a ton of good information in the freshwater section of the forum and I'd start with reading up on the Nitrogen Cycle if you haven't already.

Good luck with figuring out your setup and fish choices. Don't be afraid to ask any and all questions and happy fishkeeping!

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome to you,and good bye to any pennies/dollas you had.
i'm down to one tank again, however i have a couple in storage

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
