Anyone have any idea how much those fish cost? Around?
Where would you be buying them? A local fish store that specializes in fish or a big chain like Petco or Petsmart? The fish I listed are not expensive but your local aquarium supply/fish store might be just slightly higher on price.
The best thing about the stores that aren't big chains (if they're any good) is that the fish are usually healthier so it's worth the slightly higher price.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Well there's a Tropical Fish store by my place or else its Petsmart but that second option doesn't sound right. I just need a price range, just so I have an idea for costs.

So... any ideas :]

Honestly it's been almost a year since I purchased them. I know some of them were like 3 for $6 or $7 dollars and other were a few dollars each. Not really much money at all. You should prolly go to Petsmart and see what they're going for. That's a good way to find out what you can afford and which fish "speak" to you.

Good luck.

Thanks that's a good idea. I will try to get my butt over there but I will have to wait a few weeks. Money is an issue, because I have too many gift cards and only a bit of cash. Thanks guys!
