Saying hello...new to community
Altho I've been reading and enjoying this site for a while I decided to take the plunge today and join up! Hello to everyone. I got out of aquarium keeping for a few years...got into pond keeping with Koi, Orandas and Comets and just about a year and 1/2 ago started back with tropicals. Recently a problem with my tropical tanks got me reading more and more and I've decided to join you all here. But I'll post all that on another thread. I've gathered some much needed information from these forums and have enjoyed many of the threads and the pictures.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]
Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
