Wow, it's been a while!! So long in fact, that many of you are probably too new here to remember me . Anyway, I'm back and I hope to be a little more active now. For those of you who do remember me, let me tell you the knew developments.
First for my tanks. I only have 3 now...used to have 5 counting a QT tank which I still have but is not set up. The major thing is that I sold my largest tank, which was a 29 gallon planted community...aka my disaster tank! I've learned a lot from all of my experiences and during that time I've discovered what I really want out of this hobby...not to mention the amount of time that I have to spend on it. So now I don't have any real plants (too much work and seemed to cause problems for me) and am only keeping bettas because they are my real passion.
Right now I have a 5.5 gallon tank with my rescue betta, a blue veiltail named Professor Lupin, a divided 15 gallon with my male veiltail Victor and my cute little female Edelweiss, and a 10 gallon with my multicolored HM named Cassanova. I think that those who remember me probably already know that my first betta Flame died a while ago, but at the beginning of the summer I lost my spunky little girl Diva to an untreatable case of popeye that I think was due to the same incident concerning some leeching toxins from a pot that almost claimed my Cassanova as well.
I have about a million other stories to tell, but I think it would bore anyone who doesn't know me. So really, I'd like to meet those who are new here and re-introduce myself to anyone who knew me. This really is a great board that I would like to be a part of again.
I will post pics of my current setups tonight after they get their weekly cleaning ;-). Hope to talk to you all soon!
