Outta the saddle into the tank

Newbie here!!! I have had a 10 gallon fish tank since the end of july 2011. Originally I got it because I emptied my watering troughs and had to do something with the poor guy. Well, I just recently purchased a used 50 gallon tank.....wow! I'm digging this!! Not ready to give up the saddle for fish herding.....but I might lol. I have 11 barbs, a rainbow shark, and a Chinese sucker fish (whom would be banished to the trough if I could catch the dadgum thing!!!!!!). Ive had some good and bad experiences with the LFS, but overall.... with the help of this website, I don't kill very many fish anymore (hope I didn't just jinx myself)!!!

hello and welcome.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
