Agreed you will be battling that for quite a while unless you wash the sand better, it takes me 15-20 mins to rinse out about 10-15 pounds of sand.

Thanks for the advise everyone. Got the foam to go down ALOT :) Just hope my poor fish don't get sick or hate me anymore then they already do (poor little guys) they've been through enough. But Thank you again all the answers helped so much!!

glad to be able to help,and i hope everything goes well with the tank now.

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
