Northern California Fish Addict

Was hunting for a new forum. My favorite hang out has been offline for a while now and I don't think it's coming back. And I have yet to find another forum that I enjoy as much. I'm hoping this is where I'll stop searching. :D

I have kept fish on and off for many years with about 10 years out of the hobby until a couple years ago. I have had the most enjoyable and succesful experience this time around of all the years I kept them before. I have always HAD to have multiple tanks and if my hubby would allow, I would probably line every wall in the house with tanks. But....he's yanked on the choke chain and stopped me at three (so far ehehehehehe)
I have an empty 40 gal in my garage that he THINKS I am going to trade out my 20 long for (little does he know...I have another plan)

Most of my experience is with freshwater. I keep a 55 gal and a 20 long. The 55 gal is my favorite tank. My Kribs and Rams live there. the 20 gal basically just holds a common pleco that didn't work outi n the 55 and a female convict that I thought was so amazingly colored that I had to have her. (It used to hold a bonded pair of cons and their gazillion fry) Oops.

I recently got into SW (sort of). I did it the hard way and started with a tiny little 2.5 gal AGa tank. It's done great and I have completely amazed even myself.

I've gabbed on enough. I just wanted to say hello and will kind of wander around and check things out.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

hope you enjoy your stay.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
