Hi Jay, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

I moved your post out of Troical and Freshwater Fish and into this "Meet the Community" section.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

hello and welcome.
awsome tanks, what are you planning for the 240 ?

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hello and welcome to TFK, you will find this place a wonderful and friendly source of information!

How to do do fish keeping like a boss........ dude, those tanks are immense! I am so jealous. that size tank is well out of my realm so can't really help with suggestions for large fish but I look forward to seeing what you do with it! please keep us posted, pics are always good!

Simon

Peace always..

Thanks Everyone.

I finished trimming a few inch off the side of the stand today since I have pretty much just a bit over 8ft, where I want the tank. The tank fits just Fine that stand didnt but im ok now.

I sanded it down and gave it a fresh coat of paint. Buying new hardware for the doors and adding a patterned trim to the doors and overall frame.

I also picked up a Fluval fx5 canister filter.

I'll keep you guys updated as I go on.

Upside down since I had to cut the bottom frame

Electric Blue

Red Terror (False)
