new here, but not to fish.

hi, im mary. i have been keeping fish in some form or another for almost 40 years.i have a 29, a couple of tens and a 55. the 29 is a community tank with cherry barbs, black tetras, serpae tetras, pristella tetras and two gold gourami juviniles. and a golden snail. the tetras and cherry barbs are in small schools of four to five fish.that tank has some live plants, but the tetras love to eat all but the java fern. my 10s are being redesigned into a 20 g hermit crab habitat. and my 55 is a red eared slider aquatic turtle habitat. he has pet minnows there too. he will live out side for the summer, but really cant do anything with his tank because its his winter home. so thats me. i also sculpt dragons and fish. i have a love affair with bettas, but do not have any right now.i will be sculpting some larger than life bettas soon. thanks for looking.

Are you going to combine the 10s to make a 20 for the crabitat? sounds interesting, I'm curious to know how that'll work! You must post some pictures of your sculptures too!that sounds really cool.

Sorry if there is spelling and grammer mistakes above. I am not good with either.

hello and warm welcome.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hi Mary

Welcome to the forum. Your sculptures sound intriguing - +1 on the pics.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
