Welcome to TFK, aunkster. Yes, you are right, fishkeeping is a great hobby. With three kids you can start your own rock band! Just curious, what's your favorite type of music to play??

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

Hi aunkster

Welcome to TFK. Fishkeeping is a great hobby - you won't be disappointed. And there are so many experienced and knowledgable people on this forum that you should be able to get all the info. you need to get started and maintain your tanks.

I had no idea how much there was to learn when my fish addiction started a few years back.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

welcome to you and your family.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
