New here!

I just signed up for the forums today. I'm a college senior psychology major, and have a sliiiiight addiction to fish. I've been on other forums, and it doesn't seem as if they're as as used as I hope they would have been.
Hope to read some great information here!

I just signed up here too. Welcome to TFK! My wife bought our kids a 10g tank for christmas. I went up to the Lfs to get a stand and wound up buying a 25g and stand and equipment. I was planning on setting it up and going back for fish later with the kids only to find out I had a long wait before we could add them. Anyway, now we have 3 platys w/fry and 1 expecting , 1 dwarf gouami, 6 peppered corys, and angelfish. So what kind of set up do you have? I'd love to hear back!

After a 30 year hiatus from the hobby, I jumped back into it 3 weeks ago with the purchase of a used 35 g with about 80 fancy tailed guppies in it. I've gotten rid of most of the guppies in exchange for some live plants and fish food and fertilizer. I then traded an orig (1985) copy of Jack Wattley's handbook of Discus for a pair of Angels (2.5 - 3.5") plus four cardinal tets plus some more plants. I've since added 2 cory's, 4 Plecos.. (2 for my next tank), 14 black neon tets, 8 neon tets. (Just a tad overcrowded but soon to be relieved with a 29 bow-front (freebie) set up last night.) I learned one lesson in the first 10 minutes on this site! Java Ferns are NOT to be buried in the gravel! OOPs... now anchored to some fake driftwood. I look forward to participating on this site!
