New freshwater fishkeeper from FL

Hello.

My name is John, I've been in the fishkeeping hobby for 3 years. I'm strictly freshwater, I decided when I bought my first tank that perhaps saltwater could be for me in the distant future but not right now. Right now I own four, a 55 gallon and three smaller ones. I plan to get a 55+ in the not so distant future. I hope to meet and learn from you all very soon!

Hi John. Welcome to the forum! What kind of fish do you keep? Would love to see pics of your set ups, if you can.

Hi. Thanks!

Well I just noticed the "Aquarium Log" feature on this site which I am about to add my tanks to. I have an empty 10 gallon hospital/quarantine tank. My 20 gallon has 6 tiger barbs, 6 zebra danios and a bushynose pleco. My 29 planted has turquoise rainbows, rasboras, cory catfish, 1 oto and 1 snowball pleco.

My planted 55 I am restocking and I was going to head over to the main freshwater forums to get some ideas on what to add. Currently I have 2 dojo loaches, 1 honey sunsent gourami and that's it. I know dojo's do better in cooler temperatures but I've had them for 2 years and kept it between the low-to mid 70's for them and they've done great and seem happy.

Well two of my tanks are up. My 55 and 20. My 29 gal is coming. Looking at alot of users tanks onhere I don't think mine are as spectacular or pretty as some others but my fish are healthy and I dig them. There's WAY more I want/need to do with my 55 gal which like it says is under construction.
