New to the Forum

Hello this is my first time posting on the forum. I have always loved having an aquarium, I started this tank about two or so years ago I had a 30 gallon to start with. Now I have a 46 gallon bowfront aquarium, running pressurized CO2, planted of course, doseing macro and micro ferts at 9ml daily, lighting is 2x96 Power Compact, filtration is a CF-300. My stocking ranges from four neons, four glowlights, two drawf gourami, some lemon tetras, gold tetras, one black skirt, two cories, a peacock ell, two loaches, and my newest addition a male and female Apistogramma Cacatuoides double red I think, almost forgot my male and female Killi fish golden wonder.

Welcome :)

I would encourage you to rehome a few species of your fish. Most of them really need groups to feel safe and not stressed but your tank is not big enough to add more.

Your Peacock Eel may eventually eat.. well any of your fish pretty much.

I have had the peacock ell for more than a year now and he has never bothered any of my fish.

A work in progress

Hello all. I am new to this forum. I have a tank, and a few things...I know I need more equipment. Here is a link to my tank and what I have all ready:

Direct Link: A work in progress - 55 gallon Freshwater fish tank

What I wish to know is this. I have an idea on what I wish to do with my tank, but I have really no idea how to go about finishing it out, and I am open to any suggestions.

My idea is this; I want to set my tank up as a "Glow in the Dark." I want a black light and have fish and accessories that will play off each other do I finish this off? So far I am set up as a fresh water, if you all think I should go for a more saltwater look, I am open to that as well. Freshwater is how I am initially set up so help me out!

Thank you all very much!
