New fishy guy.

Hello all from Canada. My name is Doug and I have been at this for 44 yrs. I have posted a few pics so you can see some of my fish. I am a breeder of endangered species Plecos and others. Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Oh cool! I recently bought two albino bristlenose plecos. One was a long finned variety and unfortunately died. (apparently my tank hadn't cycled as well as i had thought. and I was also told after he died that they are much more sensitive.) I had hoped to get a dark black one (as I think they are prettier) and hoped to breed them. guess i'll have to wait a bit, hopefully next time I head to the store in a while they have a regular variety.

Hi Dragonfyre; I have spawned and sold 100s of Bristle nose and over those years I found 7 Albinoes. I lost all but two so yes I agree they are more sensitive. I have not lost a fish for over 17 yrs. other than a few fry.. I think these ones will make it now. They are almost 3 inches now and very cool. I plan to breed them back to my wild stock and see what I get.
Did not look to see where you live but I have about 400 Dark Spotted Bristlenose.

I live in Minnesota. Seeing as it says you live in Canada I doubt i would be able to pick any up. (as much as i would love too.) Although once I get the money and my tank is a little more stable I would LOVE to order some if you'd be willing to ship.

The licensing hoops they make us jump through are next to impossible. Very expensive too. I am not allowed to export. :{
