New Fishkeeper with MTS

Hi everyone!

My name is Geoff and I live in the Pocono Mtns of NE Pennsylvania. I only started keeping fish a bit over a month ago. I started with a 36g bowfront and now have 3 more tanks. I'm in the planning stages for a 75g Amazon River biotope. It didn't take long for MTS to kick in!

When I first set up the bowfront, I knew little to nothing about keeping fish. Luckily I did a lot of research as I was going along and most of my fish are still alive. I now know all about the nitrogen cycle and doing basic maintenance, and I also quarantine any new fish. I learn something new everyday and I look forward to learning from you all, and hopefully helping someone else down the road.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hello Geoff

Welcome to the forum and the um.... addiction :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
