Hey my name is Evan and I joined the forum because I'm new to the hobby and I could use all the advice I can get. I figured this would be the best place to go. I have a basic 55 gallon aquarium for now with an internal power filter and a good sized pile of live rock. Lucky for me the LFS in my town sells fully cured live rock....kinda pricey bit it saved me a ton of time. I also got some good Caribbean sand for my tank. I gave it a well before my first fish...two blue damsel fish and a firefish. Been going really well so far this is the second week with fish. Posted via Mobile Device
the 2 damsels are going to be nippy as they age. be careful with the "power filter" as it potientally could become a nitrate factory unless kept clean.
Yeah they already get into it a little bit from time to time. One is a little bigger and is dominant so as time hours on the fight less as they get the pecking order situated. I gear they get more aggressive when they get older though so we'll see. Posted via Mobile Device
