New from Alabama

Hello! I don't have any finned friends as of yet, but this is a hobby I'm looking to get into for the beginning of the new year. I hope I can learn a lot here and get some help with my soon to be 29 gallon saltwater tank. = ]

Thanks for reading!

Hi Cashie, welcome to TFK. A new tank for the new year, how exciting!

Hello Cashie and welcome to the forum

You'll find a lot of helpful and knowledgable saltys here to help you along the way.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

hello and welcome. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
