Hi there Chris. Welcome to the forum.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome.
tanks sound really nice and interesting,
what you got in there ?

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Right now for fish I don't have much, but I like it that way. Total I have a comet goldfish, an oscar, a piranha, fangs pufferfish and a foxfish.

I like keeping fish to a minimum honestly.
