Hello, a little about myself and how i got into the hobby???? hmmm.....
I'm a mom of 3 (which means ALOT) those of you with children will understand...mine are 6, 8, & 8....but the 8 year olds are 3 months apart...figure that one out!!
LOL One is my step daughter.
I started keeping fish about 10 years ago when i got a betta. I put this beautiful blue betta in a 10 gallon tank...then later found out that the males are the ones with the pretty fins and the females don't have that...so i got a female!! They made a bubble nest and spawned...don't know what happened to the babies..nothing else ever came of that. I got a couple more betta's and ended up with 2 more 10 gallon tanks. Then i found this really really good deal on a 130 gallon salt water tank (being a military family at the time...we found good deals on alot of things when people move overseas) So, we brought it home with water and all!! I had never had saltwater before!!!!!!! Everything went good with that tank. Ended up selling it over again when WE moved. Didn't have a fish tank for awhile...went through a divorce....finished college with 2 kids.....now I'm settled again and back in the hobby. I have a 49 Gallon Bow front with 8 gold marble veil X calico koi Angelfish that i just bought a week ago and 2 clown loaches. I've only had the tank up and running for about 2 months....as soon as i could i bought some angels!!!! I've always wanted to keep angels :D The ones i have are about a quarter size...about 4 - 5 months old.
I also have a serious case of MTS and need more tanks!!!!!!!
That's the only way i can think of to help ease the symptoms of multiple tank syndrome.
I'm not a breeder but would like to see if i can be successful at breeding angels. I have alot more time & more important $$$ now to put into the effort. Who know?? I'm just taking my time...doing alot of reading and learning alot from forums like this. That's my main purpose on here.....to learn. I may not be able to answer alot of questions but i do ask alot of questions.....
lucky you :D
Glad to be here!!!!!!!!
here is a pic of my tank!!!!
I call her Rosie...One of my Favorite angels.
