Just want to introduce myself and say Hi!

Just found your site while searching the net looking to find out why my poor neon has such a swollen tummy. I joined up after realising I had spent an hour strolling through the site and discovered that it might be a good idea to get to know people who know whats going on!!

I have a 3 foot (approx) tank, I think in gallons it holds just over 31 gallons, I know its 120 litres on the nose, (sorry but as I'm from Ireland and not the US I use the metric system).

I have another smaller tank which is 40 litres (10 gallons, I think?) but at the moment that one is empty. I'm thinking of putting some guppies into it but I'm concentrating on the larger tank at the minute.

If anyone has any tips to pass on please do, they'd be most welcome. I've been keeping trops for the pass year but I'm still rather green around the gills. (Lol!) I'm really interested in breeding but I've no idea where to begin, so any help would be appreciated.

Well I have a few black widows that I'd like to breed. I'm not going to try breeding the neons as I believe they are only for professional breeders because they are extremely hard. I wouldn't mind breeding the platys or the rosey barbs (I've a few diamond tetras too!) but I want to start with something easy, well as easy as breeding can be!! Would you have any suggestions?

Hello LR. Welcome to the forum. Try breeding mollies. They breed like rabbits!
