hey guys
so my mom got this really cool fish bowl at a garage sale. it was really tiny, but it had a fisherman with a fishing pole going in the water with a fish on the end of it. i thought it was very creative so i wanted a fish for it. then i found the betta at walmart and i really like it. its tails look like a horse and they are blue/purple. so i put him in. then i did a little research on them and found out they like 2 gallons or more water space. so i bought a fish bowl that size. then i read about breeding them and thought it would be fun, so i bought a 10 gallon tank with the works. so thats what i have today. it started with a little fish bowl and bloomed into tanks everywhere and starting to breed.

Welcome to TFK! As you are suddenly finding out, fishkeeping is addicting, in a good way.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

hello and welcome. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

yeah its addicting, but over the years ive found a way to control my addictions. well at least i am trying to. i did buy a lot of stuff for the fish, but thats only because im breeding them. and i need food. but hopefully i wont have 100 gallon tanks everywhere in my house...
