hello i just got two american flag fish . i was told they love algae so i got them. ive had them a day and their just hanging out at the top of the tank not eating yet.how did your fish react when you first brought him home? you sound like you have a nice start i love blue gouramis excellent choice

Best I remember, mine mighta acted a little nervous at first, but came out of it real quick. One suggestion, they love those algae wafers that are for plecos. I bought some for my plecos and the American flag fish eats as much as they do. You may want to try them on those wafers along with their regular diet. Good luck and keep us updated on how they do.
