have fun shoppin
wish i was a the stocking stage lol

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

just an update....fish are going great guns, i have decided that this is just going to be a danio only tank with one or two catfish to keep some movement at the bottom of the tank....just put a used 2nd hand filter in there (before u jump up and down...i've had it in a jug with the original tank water in there and some of the filter media from the original pump as well for the last 2 days) as i've pointed out in previous posts it's in the corner of my bedroom and the original pump was a a trickle system..thus was a little noisy (wanted to pee every time i woke up !! lol) the pump i there now is a fully submersible one (just a slight hum!!! win!!)....just a little bit of a concern.....no instructions...pretty straight forward installation....just not sure how far in to put it....can someone please explain how submersible pumps 'work'??? i've used nothing but trickle systems in the past..so this is a little new to me.....thanks guys..

hi
any chance of a picture,or the name so i can look it up ?
most sit right under the water,as it keeps the motor cool i believe,or
just beneath, some sit above with a small spray bar.

If you don't want to trickle filter to trickle, you just place it underwater or the holes squirting at the wall!

540L/140G - 'Tidal Jungle' (Crabs) | 254L/67g - 'Backwater Pool' (Fish/Snails) | 96L/25G - ''Twisted Minds" (Fish/Snails)

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.

my other hobby is paintball!!!!not sure of size yet (it's gotta fit in the same area of my room)maybe a 3 or 4 footer or just a better looking 2 footer (this ones a little shabby looking!!)saw a beautiful blue/black ram (sooooooooo cuuuuuuuute!!)...and my supplier thinks it should be ok in my tank......so who knows....maybe the ram can go in there once she's completely cycled!!!

lol i thought it was umming and arrring ...
tank sounds nice.
i would love to have rams, but i've never been lucky with them..ever..
bristlenoses don't get massive,only about 5 inches max,it's the
common plec you need to watch out they don't sell you,i bought two, years ago
the size of my little finger, and my goodness they grew huge ! i wouldn't choose
them again,so i stick with the bristle nose.
can you post pictures of the tank ?
