Hi everyone!
Some of you will recognise me from another fish site, as I recognise some of you! I would just like to tell you a bit about how I got started with fish, (not that anyone would really be interested!)
Quite a while back, last year, my hamster died. I thought,
"Well, we've had cats, and hamsters, why don't we try something a bit different. How about fish!!"
So we decided I would get an aquarium for my birthday in March of this year. It wasn't until May the tank actually got going, and obviously cycling and all that stuff took a while. It was my first aquarium so I didn't know about cycling, and thought you waited a few days for the tank to "settle", and go off and buy the fish. thankfully, my dad knew a bit more than I did, and the tank was cycled.
I bought tetras and pentazonas, but a MASSIVE attack of white spot destroyed the lot in 48 hours. I tried everything to save them, but they just faded before my eyes.
anyway, that is all sorted now, and I have a couple of mollies, and two Blue Rams. I hope it goes well this time around.
Thanks for reading my long and boring story!
