I'm fairly new to keeping fish, but have fallen hard and fast with the amount of love I have for it! ♥♥♥
(I'm also pretty new to this website as well.)
I currently have a small 20L/5 gallon tank with my betta in it, and a 170L/45 gallon tank with 4 baby shubunkin goldfish in it.- I absolutely love my goldies, but not long after getting them I realized that I wanted a more heavily planted tank and wanted to try more colourful and varied fish options. (Here's a link to my first thread on here discussing it: http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/f...9/#post1892921
I also have a 24L/6 gallon tank that I will soon be setting up to cycle, once I've finally decided what type of fish I'll be having in there... I'm either thinking another betta, shell dwellers (which is my favourite option so far), triops, or maybe a planted shrimp tank. (If anyone has any other suggestion for possible fish options, please let me know!
... I know a lot of people say that bettas are the only fish that can happily live in a tank this size, but after doing some research and thinking outside of the box, I found these other two.) - Though I won't actually set it up or get the fish or anything, until I've fully sorted out my 170L tank (I'm wanting to have it fully planted, with a few different types of fish, so this will probably take some time).
Anyway I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on here, and would love to make some friends and learn a bit (and by a bit, I mean a LOT
lol!) along the way!
