Talking Hi From TN

Hi! My name is Noel, I'm 28 year old FM, living in Eastern TN. I am addicted to fish *aren't we all?* LOL

I've been keeping fish for about 6 years now. I started off with a betta fish in a 1 gallon tank. Poor guy I over fed him on live brine shrimp :( Of course I then spent hours researching and trying to come up with how I had managed to murder my little friend. Which led me into a 5 Gallon betta/live plant tank. Which led to a 29 gallon freshwater planted community tank... to a 55 gallon fwp... to a 75 gallon fwp or two.... 0_o

More recently I've suffered a neck injury making my 75 gallon tank impossible to clean :( So I'm in the process of breaking it down and setting up a 30 gallon hexagon tank.

Someday, I plan on making the jump into Salt Water, but with looming neck surgery, I decided it best to wait until that was squared away.

I also love to: Read, Do anything with Yarn *though my current love affair is with Crochet*, I'm generally "crafty" as my friends would say.

I'd love to meet people in my area that also keep aquariums :)

The fish I miss the most from my previous aquariums: Pigeon Blood Discus kept in 75 gallon planted tank. I had to re-home him when I hurt my neck :(

hello and welcome.
good luck with the surgery.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Welcome Noel. I'm real sorry to hear about your neck injury. That has to be a real drag. And only 28. wow. I hope all turns out well.
Speaking of 28 y.o. I think it's pretty cool that a person your age in today's society knits and crochet. Those days seem to be fading fast.
