Hi, New Here!

Hi, I'm Lisa and just starting a new aquarium. I had aquariums as a child and now that I have my own daughter, I wanted to rekindle the tradition. Unfortuantely, I am having a rough start but I will post more about that in the other forums! I hope to get much needed advice (and a little support )! Thanks!

Hello Lisa

Welcome to the forum.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome.
i agree we have to all start somewhere, and have a few bumpy moments
along the way, you're in good hands here.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

We've already "met" in one of your other threads, but a second welcome won't hurt. Glad you found Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
