hi....forum newbie

My daughter recommended this forum to me, unfortunatly I have no idea of what I am doing !!! I have been keeping fish for many years now and always do enjoy talking to people who Love them as much as I do. I have had everything from a 5 gallon tank to a 200 gallon tank both in marine and freshwater I do prefer freshwater to marine tho. I love marine fish who wouldn't they are beautiful but i disagree with how they get the fish and the damage that is done to Coral Reefs while they are collecting the little Marine wonders. Well I could talk fish all day so I guess I better be quiet now LOL

Welcome mom!

Okay, guys, my mom is really lost when it comes to message boards, so any helpful advice you've got would be great. (It'll maybe get her off my back, anyway!)

But the woman knows her fish, and I guarantee you she'll have some awesome advice about aquarium maintenance. She loves to talk about fish, especially clown loaches. I know you'll love her as much as I do!

Welcome to the forums,

Great place to teach and learn about fish. I've learned allot from the forums, and it will be great to have people that know what they are doing guide us new aquarists through the different stages. Hope to see you around.

Welcome Sparky & PenninInk. How great that the two of you share a common interest in fish. And it's always nice to see another fellow loach lover on the forum. I love your avatar, PenninInk.

Thanks! It's cover art from a comic by my favorite artist, Ursula Vernon. Her work is insane, and if you read her blog you learn that she's really an incredible person with a wonderful personality. I bought a handful of prints from her last Christmas, and she not only charged low shipping rates, she gave me a discount for the bulk order.

You can find her at her main website here. She has links to all her other online content there, too.

Welcome to both of you. The only downside to this forum is that it's addicting.

You have been forewarned LOL.
