Hi Darren

Welcome to TFK. You'll find a lot of friendly helpful people here. What type of fish are you keeping (or thinking of keeping)?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Hi bigred91. Yes what kind of fish do you keep? And welcome ... from Ontario.

Thank you all for the welcomes! Here is what I am thinking about stocking my tank with, http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/f...ew-tank-67991/

I am in the process of moving so I won't be able to start on it for another month or two.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

hello and welcome.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
