Hi all, been meaning to join a fish forum for a while so here i am. iv been keeping tropicals for around 2 years now. iv only got a 50l tank as thats all the wife will allow (for now) .
in the tank iv got a red male fighter, 2 breeding corydoras and 2 fry, 4 adult guppies and around 10 fry and 2 shrimp. gonna have to get rid of a few fry when they get bigger as the tank will be slightly overstocked.
thanks, im terrible with fish names, this was advertised as a siamese fighting fish but after reading a few articles i think its real name is a betta?? heres a couple of pics of him anyway
lol, they are really nice fish. iv had 3 of them now. This fish took a right battering when i put him in. I thought the betta i already had was a female, had the white protrusion on the bottom. It ended up tearing the new addition to bits. He recovered well though and i passed on the offender to a friend who had a bigger tank. how do you keep your bettas? are they all seperate? id like to add a female for company but im a bit put off after that incident
