Hi

Hi All,
This is a forum first for me so be patient. I'm not great on internet "chat", no facebook etc., still trying to get a laptop & mp3 - long, boring story. Looking forward to chatting with fellow "ichthyologists"! LOL

hello Taz and welcome.
it won't take you long to pick things up.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hi Taz,

Welcome to the forum.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Hi Taz, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping.

Where in northern Ontario are you? I was born and raised in southern Ontario.

Cheers,
Byron.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
