Hi, I'm brand new to fish keeping. A couple of months ago my husband and I got a 20g tank. He kept tropical freshwater fish as a kid but I have never done anything like this. Here is some info about our tank:

60 gallon tropical freshwater tank (4'X2'X1')
Substrate: light colored sand
Planted with moss ball, scarlet temple, anachris, onion plant and corkscrew
2 2" clown loach (yes, we will get a larger tank before they need it)
4 black skirt tetras (we are planning to increase to 6)
5 raspora hets
7 zebra long fin danios
0 neon tetras (but yesterday we had 5)

I'm having lots of fun learning about fish!

hello and welcome to you both,
i hope you will be very happy here with us.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Thanks for the welcome! Stephanie, sorry that was confusing. We bought a 20g and then about a month later we got a 60g. Currently the fish live in the 60g and my husband is trying to hatch some triops in the 20g. We just bought a 10g for a quarantine tank but it isn't cycled yet.
