Hi!

I've only been keeping fish for a year and a half but it's definitely something I'm going to continue!
Right now I have 4 Cherry Barbs and 3 Leopard Corys in a 14 gallon tank. They're happy little guys.
I also have a 29 gallon bowfront tank that I'd really like to get set up but I'm having a really hard time finding something that will be strong enough to support it full, that's not too expensive.
I had a Betta for a year but then he died of old age or something.

Hey there Wallaby. Nice to meet you. Glad you're enjoying the fishy hobby. It's quite addicting, for me anyway.

Check out this thread in the DIY section. I'm sorry I don't know how to link another thread to this post. I don't know if this idea would work for a bowfront but's an inexpensive way to set up a stand:

Kinda rustic aquarium stand. xD

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

Hello and welcome! Any ideas as to what you'd put in the 29g once you get it set up?

hello and welcome :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Thanks, I'll definitely take a look at that!

I think I might like to get some larger fish to put in the 29g but I'm not really sure. Maybe it'd be cool to have tons of little ones schooling around or make a biotype tank...I'm not totally sure. I really love Bettas though so I might make a biotype tank for one of those...

Thanks for the welcome!
