Hey guys my name is Dylan. I love aquariums they are amazing. My goal in life is to be a vet and hopefully open my own an aquarium. I am beginning small time by breeding some fish. The aquarium is going to be called The Tuna. My Co-Owner and Partner is going to be jfengler. If there are any ideas of fish for the aquarium I will be open for suggestions.
First: read a lot before buying a tank. Just a good advice: the bigger is always better. It's because the aquarium has more than just fish: plants and bacterias. It can make a biological balance, but only in bigger tanks, so you will have less problems, the balance will solve the rest. A good size would be like 40 gallons for your first tank, or larger. You should also have 1 or 2 smaller ones (for agressive, sick, or baby fish).
i dont feel very comfortable keeping the name tuna since my flowerhorn is gone dylan, and we have many tanks already, dylan has a 65 litre tank and a 15 litre tank, i have a 260 litre tank, a 50 litre tank, and a 15 litre tank
Josh I am gonna convince mum into letting me get a bigger tank, I'll tell her the gouramis are gonna get bigger and will need a bigger tank, I'll buy it myself, she can't say no
