Hello from St. Louis USA

Hi all! I am a newbie to the forum... I am a 32 yr old stay at home Mom of 2. I have 2 tanks, both freshwater communities.

10g: Tiger barb, orange barb, cherry barb, small algae eater (can't remember species but stays @ 2 inches)

55g: African brown knifefish (apx 6" now) 3 gouramis- gold, blue, & opaline, 2 scissortail rasboras, 3 small tetras, leopard danio, chinese algae eater, leopard cory cat, albino cory cat. (yes I am well aware my knifefish will get bigger!)

Pics coming soon as soon as I can get my camera to cooperate. Its having issues with taking pics without the flash and with the flash it just reflects the front glass of the tank. Bleh! (its an oldi camera)

Thanks!!

Just uploaded some crude pics of the 55G. I caught the knifefish out and got a pic of him! (He has a nice cave to hide in)

Hi trukgirl,

Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it here :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome.
hope you'll be very happy here with us.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
