Talking Hello from the Pacific NorthWest!

Hi. My name is Mandy and I'm addicted to fish.

I started keeping in march of this year and now I can't stop!!! I only have 7 tanks running right now.4 ten gallon tanks and one twenty of guppies. I have a 30 gallon bowfront that im quarantining some new fish in (lithobate, Aurora, borleyi, liulu, intrmedius, sunshine peacock, snow white) these fish will then go into my now empty 200 gallon 7' acrylic bowfront show tank

I love watching fish grow and develop their colors.

I started auctioning off my guppies and snails to help fund my addiction, I have been working with black Moscow and AOC black Moscow, platinum mosaic, golden pastel, blue mosaic, and RREA red grass color varieties. My snails are a purple striped briggs snails, both light and dark footed.

Well I can't think of anything else right now. Have a great day!!!

hello and welcome.
i hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hi Mandy, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

In which part of Washington state are you? I'm up north just outside of Vancouver (BC, not the Vancouver in Washington).

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
