Smile hello from Oklahoma

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I am fairly new to the aquarium hobby but I am learning a lot and enjoy my tanks! I currently have a 55 gallon community tank with a black ghost knife, clown loach, 4 angels (soon to be 5), 3 bolivian rams, 3-4 eartheaters (I inherited these from my hubby's 125 gallon he just brought home), 2 bristle nose plecs, and 1 common plec. I also have a malawi cichlid tank with 6 yellow labs and a pair of Copadichromis azureus, there is also a chinese algae eater in that tank. I am also experimenting with planted tanks and have a 10 gallon Walstead set up that is starting to look more like a planted tank than an empty one

My hubby has a 125 gallon with some Viejas and something else in it (can't remember, too many things in it when we brought it home), a 120 gallon with a Jag and some green texans, and a 20 gallon with some Jags we are growing out to move into the 120. We are rehoming the Viejas, gorgeous fish, but pretty boring and we already had plans of what we were stocking the tanks with prior to realizing exactly how many fish came with the 125.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and helping where I can (still pretty new, but like I said, I have learned a lot).

Hey there Jen13! Welcome to the forum.
Any chance you have any pics of your tanks? Would love to see them.

hello and warm welcom to you.
see you round the pages. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
